Katia Colitti is General Counsel Parcels & Logistics at bpost. She develops and coordinates execution of legal strategy on a broad range of complex commercial matters covering all aspects of business operations, including M&A transactions and other collaborations, cross-borderdisputes/litigation, issues relating to e-commerce fulfillment, cross-border shipment, and customs regulations, financial regulation, contracting, and employment questions.
Before joining bpost in 2018, Katia worked at Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton LLP (2008-2018), practicing in Washington DC and Brussels. Her practice focused on competition law questions in merger transactions and alliances, regulatory and internal investigations and litigation, and counseling and compliance. Her experience spanned a broad range of industries, from high-tech, pharmaceuticals, and medical devices to chemicals and mining and metals.
Katia was an associate at Ropes & Gray in Boston (2005-2007), focusing on competition, corporate, and real estate matters.
Katia was a law clerk at the Federal District Court for the District of Massachusetts (2004-2005) and the Massachusetts Supreme Judicial Court (2003-2004).
Katia holds degrees from King’s College London (MA, Economics for Competition Law, with merit), Suffolk University Law School (JD, summa cum laude), and Assumption College (BA, Political Science, summa cum laude).
